Hey guys,
I've been dealing with this problem for nigh seven months now but it'due south finally driven me crazy. MY headphones (Razer Carcharias) emit a loftier-pitched gyre whine into my ears. It'due south quite subtle on the desktop, but as soon equally I put my PC into load similar when I launch a game, it becomes a squeal and is incessant and awful. The headphones have a USB, headphone, and microphone jack. When I unplug the USB the racket cancels (as well as all other sound). I've tried putting the jacks and USB into different places, but to no avail. I keep them in the back IO ports most of the time. I don't have a soundcard, and then I'm just using onboard Asrock audio (I believe it is Realtek).

Please help! I've been struggling with this problem for likewise long and it really is unbearable.
Thank you for any help you lot can give.

Nothing to practise with the jacks. Merely when the USB power port is plugged in.... The noise happens.

Man, was really hoping that wasn't the reason. I've only owned the 'phones for a year and it cost 100 bucks.... I judge I'll take to though considering I've heard this kind of matter can cause tinnitus. Whatever suggestions for a new headset?

If I'm honest I'm not much of an audiophile, I but want the best gaming and movie/youtube experience.

I had the same problem with my external usb soundcard. I did some research and found out that the issue is actually hearing the electricity from usb, since it was usb powered. I had my studio monitors hooked on my bill of fare and when in that location was no sound playing in the system, I could hear the things you're talking about. Tell me if you hear any changes in sound you hear, while non playing any sound in arrangement and only moving the mouse or scrolling the web page, as if the mouse movement affects the audio you hear.
Anyway I manage to fix this by pluging my monitors(integrated soundcard with seperate ability connection) so they only go audio signal from pc and not power aswell. After that, the racket was gone. It was actually hard making music with those sounds.
Maybe trying powered usb hub or something, simply I doubt this would fix the consequence since they get power from usb anyway...

i personally use these , they are a little expensive but worth every penny especially gaming and movies

Those practice await actually prissy, affair is my budget isn't very high considering I am also about to guild a Razer blackwidow keyboard, deathadder mouse and a benq monitor. That'south why I was hoping for a fix for my outcome instead of a replacement.

The racket doesn't change when i move The mouse, but it amps up a footling when I open new windows, applications etc. I goes total force when I launch a game. I can't hear it much over the game audio, just when I pause I definitely tin can and it'south very obnoxious. Non too sure if we have the aforementioned problem, but exercise you have whatever other fixes?

Pitiful, but every bit far as I know, this is a common outcome with usb powered sound devices. Its just that pc delivers both power and audio thru aforementioned cable. Or peradventure information technology fifty-fifty depends on hardware u take in pc, idk. Im but saying, cause I had lots of this kind of issues and most of the fourth dimension it was usb power related. Maybe trying powered usb hub? Simply, equally I said, the headphones still become the ability from usb... Seems to me, if opening new windows and putting pc to piece of work, makes the sound more powerfull... I'g 99% sure its usb power upshot.
